Tesla updated its self-driving computer, Hardware 4.0 (HW4.0) recently. This new hardware is set to revolutionize the way Tesla vehicles operate and provide an even better driving experience for new Tesla owners. The leaking tag picture shown Tesla had already delivered HW4 around January. We expect to get more formal information in Tesla investor day on March 1, 2023. Waymo, a spin-out Google self-driving project, opened a subsidiary in Shanghai according to the information in China’s National Enterprise Information Publicity System. It was registered in Shanghai’s free trade zone with 3.5 million yuan. Its Chinese name is Huimo (慧摩), a similar pronunciation of its English name.

Aptiv Bet on Autonomous Driving
Aptiv is a new name for many people, but Delphi is different. On Dec 5th, 2017, Delphi spun off its powertrain business and reappeared with its new brand name, Aptiv, which is focused on electrification and autonomy. Soon, Aptiv and Lyft had a cooperation and provided automated driving taxi service at Las Vegas in CES 2018. The self-driving route in Las Vegas was fixed and developed by Aptiv in 2017, including cities street and highways. CES 2018 was the first show of Aptiv after changing its name from Delphi.
